The project is a collaborative effort led by ENICRON, a local project developer, in partnership with Hy-ON, a key player responsible for hydrogen infrastructure, and other esteemed German companies including SPG Stein, Dornier Group, Griesmen, and Frontier Economics. Together, they form a strong consortium dedicated to pioneering sustainable solutions.
Hy-ON plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of this project by providing the hydrogen infrastructure necessary for green ammonia production. This ambitious effort not only seeks to repurpose mining wastewater but also aims to establish a long-term, viable business model centered on clean energy.
Green ammonia is synthesized via the Haber-Bosch process, which produces ammonia by combining nitrogen and hydrogen. The hydrogen used in this process is generated from renewable sources, making the entire process more sustainable.
