Advancing Green Energy Solutions with Renewable Hydrogen
At Hy-On, we are committed to developing innovative solutions in collaboration with our partners to integrate renewable hydrogen, thereby advancing the field of green energy. While hydrogen itself may simply be a molecule, its application in numerous industrial solutions makes it a critical component in achieving sustainability. Our focus is on transforming hydrogen into a key player in the energy landscape, pushing boundaries, and unlocking its potential to power the future.
GeFP Green Methanol Corridor
GeFP aims to utilize sewage for methanol production in Emfuleni, making it the first green methanol project in Gauteng, South Africa. Hy-ON is part of a German technology consortium delivering electrolyser infrastructure and comprehensive project support to advance this innovative initiative.

Green Nh3 From Mining waist
In collaboration with local project developer ENICRON, Hy-ON, as part of a project consortium, is developing an innovative green Ammonium solution for wastewater recovery in the mining industry. This promising, long-term business case addresses the challenges of mine wastewater management. Hy-ON is responsible for the hydrogen infrastructure, ensuring sustainable and efficient operations.
Integrated approach to decarbonize Steel
A systematic approach to decarbonizing steel involves integrating Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU), producing Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO), and transitioning to Low-Carbon DRI. This combines process innovation, renewable energy, and cross-sector collaboration to cut emissions and build a sustainable, net-zero steel industry.
